Bo school Teacher murdered and lies in a pool of Blood

A 30- year- old, Teacher of the Bo Government Secondary School, named Steven Komba Koroma has been murdered.

The late Steven Komba Koroma was a French Teacher of the Bo Government Secondary School. He hailed from the Gbense Chiefdom. He was found dead on 31th July 2014 at the Bo District Council Primary School Field Yemoh Town Section close to the Yemoh Town Police Post. Sources say he was brutally murdered and discovered to have sustained stabs on his neck, body and a deep cut on the head with rope tied around his neck and mouth left wide opened.

Although the circumstances surrounding what could be described as the brutal death of the Bo School French Teacher have not been established up to press time, however report alleges that the murder of the late Steven Komba Koroma cannot be unconnected with his romantic relationship with women and always found at night clubs hanging around for them.

Other school of thought has alleged that Steven Komba Koroma was murdered as a result of missing identity. According to the Head of the Police Investigating Team, Detective Inspector Alimu Koroma attached to the Eastern Police Division in Bo, has revealed that some sixteen suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder. Among those arrested are three females and twelve males. Inspector Alimu Koroma informed this medium that among the sixteen people arrested are a Police Personnel, a group of university students, pupils of various secondary schools, and a business man and some members of the Yemoh Town Community that are residents of Koroma-Yemoh Town street and Thomas street in Bo respectively while two are on the run and two screened and released from police custody.

The postmortem examination conducted by Doctor B S Kargbo at the Bo Government Hospital revealed that the death of the Bo School Teacher was as a result of severe head injury and intracranial hemorrhage and fracture neck. It was also observed that the deceased sustained multiple bruises with pet hail on both upper limbs

Speaking to this reporter, shortly after the postmortem examination the father of the deceased Francis Koroma Shar Ngawuja said the death of the deceased was a shock and surprise to the family when news of his death broke out in the city of Bo. The murder of the late Komba as he was fondly known is a great loss to the family, staff and pupils of the Bo Government Secondary School.

The Principal of the Bo Government Secondary School Imman Amara noted that the deceased was the only paid up French Teacher of the School. Stating that it was a shock to learn on that day about the brutal murder of Steven Komba Koroma and concluded by saying that he hopes the police will speedily and properly investigate the matter.
