Guaranty Trust Bank introduces new banking hours in Sierra Leone

As they celebrate Ten (10) years of effective and efficient service in Sierra Leone, the Board, Management and Staff of Guaranty Trust Bank (SL) Ltd has introduced a new banking hours to effective serve its customers. They inform the general public that its banking hours have been extended to between 8:30am – 4:30pm, Mondays to Fridays.

This introduction of new banking hours shows the concern and interests the multiple AWOL award winner, is giving out to members of the public.

n a press release issued recently, the GTBANK took the opportunity to thank their numerous customers for their patronage over the years while they promised to remain committed to consistent excellent service delivery in the country the Bank also extends happy and Prosperous New Year to all Sierra Leoneans and the government of Sierra Leone.

Guaranty Trust Bank (SL) Limited commenced operations in January 2002 and is presently the fourth largest financial institution in Sierra Leone today. Recognized for the Guaranty Trust values of excellent customer service, superior financial performance, professionalism and high ethical orientation, the Bank has been able to increase its customer base and year on year performance by providing value adding products and services that have endeared it to the Sierra Leonean people.

The Bank dominates a major share of the region’s Mining Sector and its Commercial and Corporate Banking clients have continued to grow as a result of the Bank’s Trade Finance offerings. The Bank’s financial performance in 2008 though only a slight improvement over that of 2007, is one of the highest growths in balance sheet and profitability the industry witnessed in 2008. The Bank’s balance sheet and gross earnings grew from $ 40 to $ 55 million and from $5 to $7 million respectively despite stiff competition and the economic lull that surrounded the operating environment in the year.
