NDMC QUARTERS IN TROUBLE…Assets Commission stops massive grabbing.
May 19, 2012The Government National Asset and Property Commission headed by the Chairman, Alhaji Unisa Alim Sesay took a reasonable and prompt action this past weekend to stop the sale of Government Assets formerly owned by the National Diamond and Mining Company(NDMC). Sources say there was mad rush by certain individuals to purchase these quarters at ridiculous amount which prompted the Government National Asset and Property Commission to seek clearance from the Office of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice to put a halt on the sale as the property is still considered owned by Government and not to be sold out to hungry and desperate property purchasers
